Dedication
This organization is dedicated to Mary Catherine Jones, known to many as Aunt Mamie.
She was the 2nd oldest of 12 children and oldest sister born August 9, 1917. At the time domestic work was pretty common enabling her to maintain her responsibility of helping her mother with the younger siblings.
She enjoyed life and was loved by everyone she came in contact. She truly believed in family and community services. She would talk about her parents and how they prayed for their children and were so grateful for what they had. Sandra and her siblings shared countless hours at her home talking and watching her cook.
She was a giving person and the “community grandmother”. Her prayer for us was to love family and serve others.
